Covers for powerheads that are not vortechs

I have 2 hydor koralia evolution powerheads. I would like to make sure a nudibranch I plan on getting does not get sucked in. Is there a cover for these? If not, could I use vortech covers for mine? Or any other ideas? Wrap it in media?
 
I dont see why not? I made mine out of materials from JoAnns Fabric store and i've had no issues over the last two years. I clean them once a month or as needed.

Could you tell me more about your covers? Any pictures?

I used the most pores (not dense) foam and sewed the ends to fit the head (I used non wax dental floss as thread)
