Wow found a large crab last tonight when the lights went out. Has anyone got a link with pics so I can try to id this thing it's normal crab shape not a hermit and was eating macro algaes. Going to try and catch it to take a pic but it may take sum time

Not so sure how cool it is yet. My aquarium has just finished its cycle and due to get my seahorses at the start of feb I need to get rid or Id soon. Problem being it was dark and I can't say much about it really

Rule of thumb is, if it is hairy, as in legs and claw, get rid of it.

I have heard that too. Although it is a good rule of thumb, it is not 100%.

When in doubt, throw it in the sump.
