I just bought a 48 inch Giesemann infinity mh/t5 for 50% off brs
Nice! I'm nowhere near ready for that just yet and my wife would kill me if I spent 600 bucks right now lol

Good luck @Crabs Mcjones. Will be watching closely. I am planning, in my head, to do an upgrade sometime this year. Nervous at the thought of trying to do this without killing livestock. Will definitely be taking it slow as you mentioned. Would like to do a RSR peninsula 500. Hoping there will be opportunities for a sale/discount soon. Good luck with the house search. Another stressful task. ;)

Watching! What equipment is moving from the 40 to the 75? Also vote drilling and eshopps overflow. You talked me into mine [emoji23]
That's what I'm learning towards as well. Pretty much every piece of equipment on my current tank is oversized and will work perfectly for the 75. Only thing I'm slightly concerned about are my MP10s. I'm sure the two of them can handle the extra foot. Oh and the lighting will have to go. The fixture I have is 36 inches and wont be able to spread out enough on a 48" tank.

I second this, my 120 is the perfect size, I had a 75 previously

Not inexpensive but the par values/cost and seeing in person the level of diffusion the maxspect recurve was what i was leaning towards when i upgrade.

It's STILL only a 4' tank, and you can do as we ALL have done one time or another... Tell her it was only $20 more.......
In all honesty, you can use much of your existing equipment. In time, the lights and whatnot can come after....

You know you will someday wish you'd gone bigger, so why not now. Get the 125 and just tell the Mrs. it's the 75 Grande model. We'll keep the secret. Lots of luck with the upgrade.
