I've had one in a 10G QT for a week by himself. I've been feeding him cut pieces of table shrimp.

Every time I feed him, when he grabs the food he goes nuts and knocks himself out against the tank. An hour later he's seem fine. I don't know how many times this can happen without killing himself

Not much I can do, I suppose

The drama continues. I have to stand him upright to recover after each incident, like Ernie Shavers against George Foreman
