So, I placed me firat order of corals and they arrived last week. Most of them are doing well and are starting to color back up from shipping. However, this crown leather seems to be struggling. The first couple of days it looked fine, just with no polyps out and then on the 3rd day I noticed it looked like it was possibly shedding it's mucous coat. I used a turkey baster to gently help blow some of it off and it seemed to look better and the polyps started to show a bit. One of the edges did drop off when I used the turkey baster, which was kinda concerning. Now however, the polyps have gone back to hiding, all of the edge tips look a little rough and there's mucous floating around it again. Is this just normal stress behavior from shipping or do I need to do something to help it?

Leather corals can go days or even weeks without showing the polyps, its really nothing to be concerned about. The coral looks overall healthy, as mentioned put it in an area of light and flow and it should heal.
