Thanks! So ready to start actual tank and stand construction instead of all this regular constructionAwesome!!
Thanks... hopefully I can get to the tank setups soon. That's what people really want to see. lolJust went through your entire thread. The shack was awesome, this is going to be amazing.
Thanks for looking out.... It's a standard 36" door. Not planning on going any wider than that. The main display will be a 72x30x25 235g Planet Aquarium Mega Matrix. With some luck it'll be at my LFS in the next week or two. My grow out tanks will be lowboys and maybe a couple 115g hydro troughs, both will easily fit.Fantastic concept. Fantastic start. Only thing that jumps out at me is the door size. What if you want a bigger tank that won’t fit thru the doors? Some time in the future I mean.
No problem. It just jumped out at me after several probs I have had moving tanks in the past. My fish room and display tank are both in our walk out basement accessed by double doors. They sure made moving easier. Thanks for looking out.... It's a standard 36" door. Not planning on going any wider than that. The main display will be a 72x30x25 235g Planet Aquarium Mega Matrix. Whew… life’s been hectic lately! Mostly good though lol. We finally got the house finished and moved and settled in. Then the holidays and work and such have just kept me super busy… I have made progress but still have a ton of work to do. As with anything I’ve had a setback or two. The biggest being when I tried using a concrete bonding primer I failed to etch the concrete first…. DOH. Most of it ended up peeling up like a big piece of rubber cement . It was a freaking mess then I had to rent a floor sander with 32 grit sandpaper to get the rest up…Sooooo? How goes the shack? Any update available?
