Hey everyone! I recently set up another fluval evo v back in March. You might remember my last one which was sold off at the start of this year when I had too much going on. I even let go of my lagoon 25 which the large zoa rock comes from. Anyways here's a break down:

Light: AI Prime HD
Return Pump: MJ 606
Heater: some cheap adjustable heater from Amazon. Not too worried about it going rogue as it's hooked up to an ink bird.
Pump: Hydor Koralia Nano
Media Basket: DIY out of sewing canvas
-Lots of bio media, 5g chemi blue carbon pouches, debris pad
InTank Surface Skimmer
ATO: Aqua Smart ATO

Livestock:
CUC: Astrea, Trochus, Limpets, Blood Shrimp, Nassarius, Bumble Bee Snail, Blue Leg Hermit
Fish: 2 Wheeler Goby, 1 Clownfish, 1 Warpaint Goby
1 Candy Cane Pistol Shrimp

Coral:
-Assorted Zoas and palys (fruit loops, magicians, sunny Ds, captain americas, etc.)
-Blue Raven Blastos
-Maxi Mini Carpet Anemone
-Assorted Mushrooms (not sure about types besides the hairy mushroom)
-Lobos
-Duncans
-GSP
-Neon Green Nepthea
-Red and Blue Stripe Acans
-GIANT ULTRA JUICED AIPTASIA ANEMONES

Grabbed this beautiful specimen from someone in the area dealing with the same issues.

Quick review of the inTank surface skimmer. For those that aren't familiar, it raises the display water level so that water is forced to trickle down the rear chambers. Took some adjusting to get it right but I've noticed an immense amount of debris and uneaten food in the rear chambers like never before and a fishy smell. My floss pads were completely dirty within a week and a half. I'd say it's doing its job great!

It looks like the filefish has removed a few aiptasia or at least put a hurting on them. There still remains the really large one that's over an inch in diameter. I should add the filefish is not here to stay. I was hoping no more than a few days but looks like maybe a week before it's through eating aiptasia. It's already killed a couple snails and giving me bad vibes the way it looks at my Duncan coral...
