Hi Everyone

I have been keeping fish literally since I can remember (my dad introduced me to the hobby ). We always had freshwater tanks and we've never kept saltwater till last year.

I've spent most of my adult years keeping freshwater planted aquariums. Last year in Aug I started a 320 litres FOWLR tank with the help of a Professional Aquarist who brought most of the equipment ready for use . So I would not be able to post step by step set up activities. Surely I will do it for my next tank now that I can do from the scratch.

Here's an Inventory of what I got.

Supplied by the Aquarist :
  • 200 litre rimless 12mm glass cube with acrylic side overflow
  • 120 litre Sump with 4 Chambers including a refugium
  • Wooden stand and did all necessary plumbing
  • 2 T5s each 18 watts. One Acetonic and one blue
  • Some live rock and live sand
  • PVC Canopy
  • Ceramic rings and filter pads
  • Atman 4000 litre/ hour return pump
  • Sobo wave maker
  • Glass Hydrometer
Added later by me
  • 2 Jebao 8w replaced the Sobo
  • Bubble Magus Curve 5
  • Sobo 300 watt water heater
  • Santa Monica Drop .6 ATS
  • Sunsun AUV 14 watt UV
  • Despacito 4 watt bubble maker for ATS
  • Digital and analog thermometers
  • Sock filters
  • Sunsun 700H Led light 60 watts complementing the T5s
  • Temperature Controlled Refractometer
Wish List:
  • Maxpect RXR 200 for better lighting
  • Customised Chiller, it's really gets hot in summer where I live.
  • Automatic Activity controller
Current live stock :

2 yellow tail Chromis
2 yellow tail Damsel
1 Picasa Clown
1 True Clown
1 Hippo Tang still in QT
1 6 line Wrasse still in QT
1 Min Max Green Carpet
1 Pink BTA
2 Colonies of Green Apple Zoas
1 Colony of Orange Oxide Zoa

Mixed CUC of snails and Hermit crab

Thank You
Sid

NIce setup although I cant see any of the pics. Why do you need a heater ?
It goes below 12 °c in winters where I live. So the heater is only for the winter months.
