I use a light by GE but then again it is the only kind I have tried

A lot of options though led fluorescent grow t5 etc. I went with a grow light but from what I have read they all get the job done

I will be trying out this method of culturing pods soon.

I found that but just feeding phytoplankton to my tank bumped up the population of pods in my refugium (and even live rock in the DT) significantly.
