Hello

What type of cooper will read the Cooper Checker? I need to measure the Seachem's cupramine levels in my saltwater tank and seachem say that if the checker measure bot free and ionic cooper it will work with Cupramine.

Can you give me some info about this?

Thanks!

At this time we cannot recommend our Copper Checkers for use in saltwater. The method has not been verified to work accurately in the marine environment however we are looking into this and will be performing testing in the next couple of months.

There will be updates to the status of this Checker's accuracy in saltwater but best thing to do is sign up for our blog. http://blog.hannainst.com/

I have found the Salifert one works well. I had tried Seachem's copper test, but it was harder to read. I use copper (Cupramine) fairly often and haven't had issues with Salifert. Best of luck.
