May sound weird, but I was wondering how many cups you get, out of a 160 gallon bucket of salt? Trying to figure the cost of water changes. Doesn't matter what the salinity level is, just the number of 1 cup scoops out of the bucket.

Thanks!

Should be 80 cups since 1 cup usually makes 2 gallons.

Are you talking about the mixture, 2 cups make? I'm just talking about how many (1 cup) scoops, you would get out of a 160 gallon bucket.

I believe a dry cup is 7.1 oz not 8 oz, at least on some baking sites I looked at. So a 48 lb bucket of salt (Instant Ocean) is 768 oz, which would equate to 108 cups out of a bucket.
