I was thinking about getting a 150 tank for saltwater I don't see a lot of them just wondering if the depth is to much for lighting or any other reasons? Thanks for input

I like my 150 but hope to upgrade to a 300 or so some day. The height hasn't been an issue but my reef breeder leds are only a few inches off the water. Hardest part is reaching the bottom you'll want some good tongs.. I just wish it was a little deeper (front to back)

Oh and wish I didn't get it with the side overflows they take up too much room I'd want a custom or at least center overflow

Love a deep 150 or any tank 28" and deeper as you can just put led lights at 100% without any worries.

The main problem is losing frags down in the rocks and you will need a some tongs to reach the bottom.

I like mine. I can grow sps mid to up top and soft corals down low. I run 2 mp40's up high for my sps and 2 mp10's down low for the corals that don't like being pushed around. I run 4 hydra 26hd and got no complaints but like most important wish it was a few inches deeper.

I have two 60 x 24 x 24, 150g tanks, one reef and one fw. I like the dimensions quite a bit, lots of room for fish snd corals. Having to use tongs is a PITA, but you can't have 24" depth otherwise.
