My first try at marine,
2 year old mixed reef with my guest star Gill. Before the idol police go after me, I have had him for 18months in this tank, he is loving life and is the boss of the tank.
Given people have limited success and I’m 18months in please spare me the bigger tank lecture

System looks healthy! What are the dimensions of your tank? It’s hard to tell by the picture. Impressive that you have been keeping this moorish idol for that long as one of your first fish :o

I actually got him as I got hit with velvet early on, and I knew they were sensitive so I figured if he was ok then I was in the clear.
Didn’t expect that he would take over the tank and my life but hey
