Custom drilled 40 breeder

LFS said they could get a custom drilled 40B for $400-$500! So I went to Petco and got one 50% off ($50) on my pals rewards card and a diamond hole drill on ebay for $5.

Haven't drilled it yet, still have to build the fish room. I live in a little cabin way out in the mountains so I don't have room for it yet. Have it decked and ready to roof next weekend.

Yeah, drill your own. I did the same thing. 40B at Petco for $50+tax. I'll drill it for an Eshoppes overflow. I've drilled a 29 previously for a supply and return. It really wasn't hard.

Got it drilled today since it's rainy and nothing else to do.

I used vegetable oil instead of water. Oil lubricates the tool, water only cools it. Had virtually zero chippage.

Old 20 gallon tank is now a custom sump with three chambers.
