A few years back, I bought a custom shallow reef tank (72"L x 15"H x 24"D) off another forum thinking that I would eventually buy a house and set it up. Fast forward a few years and a house, and I find myself not having the space for the tank. I love the dimensions but it is just too long for the only spot available in my small house.

So here is the question... would it be worth it to take it apart, cut down to 48" length, and reassemble or sell it and buy a Deep Blue 80 rimless with similar dimensions that I want? I was thinking possibly contacting some local water jet companies to see what kind of pricing i'd be looking at to have precision cuts made to the glass.

Attached is a picture. Any thoughts?
