Is it safe to cut a large sarcophyton leather coral in a reef tank with other corals ?? It is out growing my tank and i can not take the rock out because they are glued in place !!

Yes, use a razor blade or similar, be sure to clean any oils off the blade first. I had to remove a toadstool leather this way once and I had no issues. There are some that might disagree but like you I had no choice.
