Theis algae or cyano is just about all over my tank. Its causing zoas to close. Any advice is appreciated. I have more flow now than I ever had. I believe the problem started do too overfeeding since it happened when I tried switching to pellet food. Fish didn't pick all of it and it must have made parameters go out of whack. I did a water change today to help. About 10%. Any other advice? I would prefer chemicals (chemiclean etc) to be a last resort. It appears black under blues but is definitely red when whites are on. Pics for positive I'd and advice. Thank you.

How old is your tank ? You have to stabilize your chemistry, get some flow on the bottom. This is likely going to be a long persistent challenge. You have to beat them by improving the tanks own microbial population and stabilizing the water chemistry. You can use chemiclean or some other means... but I’ll highly discourage it.

Yeah I dont want to use chemicals. Ita about 7 months old and I've dealt with cyano before when going through the uglies, thought I was over that buts it's most likely still a part of that then.

What you stated is what I figured was just seeing if there might be something I'm missing. I'll just continue doing what I'm doing and maintaining stability. Thanks!
