I have a cyano problem in two of my tanks and need help on getting rid of it.

My system consist of (all are cycled together)
225 gallon main display
50 gallon frag tank
40 gallon frag tank
75 gallon refugium/ coral tank
30 gallon sump

My two frag tanks are the only ones that are having the problems. The rest of the tanks are fine. I am not sure what is causing the problem. The lighting on each tank is 4 x T5 bulbs. The lights (3 x 454 blues and 1 white) run 7-8 hours a day and are about 6 months old. This all started about 1-2 months ago.

Anyone have any clues on how I can correct this problem?

Seems to be contagious! Same time line with me too. Started my second ChemiClean treatment last night. 3 days lights out didn't work either.
What's very strange is 2 months ago I replaced all my ATI T5 bulbs and that is when my cyano issues started. Up until that point I've never had cyano before.
Wish I could be more help but at least you know your not alone with this battle ;)

What kind of flow do you have in those frag tanks?

Each tank has 2-3 maxi jets 1200 pumps going through them. It has the flow needed. They tanks were setup and have been running on this system for 3 years now and this just started happening.

Welp, T5 bulbs can start to shift in 6 months time frame, you may try changing them out, they don't last as long as you've ben led to believe. Nothing else I can think of, if you haven't done anything to the tank recently. Paint the house, spray near the tank, something out of the ordinary. ??

How much do you care about having a display FREE of wires, pumps and equipment?
