Cyanobacteria mhmmmmm?!?!?!?!

New to the Hobbie. This is the only little reddish orange spot that I have in my tank and it's right by my little baby Kenya tree.
NO I haven't touched it yet!
No I haven't scraped it yet!
Just asking if that's what it is

IMO it's hard to see if it can be Cyano, you told me also you had some Diatoms going!
Any pictures of that?

The stuff on the sand is Definitely Brown not red. I turned off the lights, just turned them on for the pictures.

If you do a WC you can syphon the what looks like Cyano out your tank.
For now I would just stick with a 5% WC, diatoms are very normal, sometimes even I see some diatoms in my tank.
When you done with that you can catch the next flight to Houston and be on time for Italian Ice cream ;)
