I’ve cycled my tank about 3 weeks ago and I’ve been testing it ever since
Ph 8
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10
Mag 1290
Kh 10
cal 400
Phos 0.25
But I’ve noticed loads of tiny micro bubbles in the water column it’s sent me mad thinking it’s the return pump sucking in air it’s not I turned the gyre off still bubbles to be seen so I turned of the tank apart from the light and I’ve notice bubbles lifting up of the sand bed and rock they travel to the water surface and then pop all day this happens would anyone know why or how to sort it my water clarity looks almost crystal clear but with fine debris in it that looks like micro bubbleshttps://youtube.com/shorts/oWDo-5TJGI8?feature=shared

I also can't see the video. Like @Boosted2kSi mentioned small bubbles from time to time from the sand aren't uncommon although micro bubbles are something different. Do you have a skimmer on the tank?

I remember having an issue similar to this when I started my tank with Marco Dry Rock. It never amounted to anything and eventually just went away.

Sorry, I know that probably doesn't help.

it looks like you have GHA and looks like the cause of the air bubbles.

When you look at the fuzzy green stuff on the rocks, is the air bubbles in there or coming from there?

Thats really weird. Are you using rodi water? New reef sand? Just trying to get more info
Yes reverse osmosis the sand is out of my previous tank and the rock is a rock I took out of an older tank and saved I cycled it with the cycled sand about 3 weeks ago

They are coming from the sand as well just as much but not as big as the top of the rock where the algae is

All I can find on the web is it’s part of the nitrogen cycle but I hear no one else with this problem

Yea I have never seen that during a cycle, only from algae.

Id just give it some time and see what happens. How long has it been doing that?

The cycle started 3 weeks ago but I’ve only just worked out this was happening 3days ago
