conflicting results make it hard to know what's true and what isn't, again I still have a snail in the tank that is still moving around, so this would suggest the Ammonia levels aren't 4.5ppm as it would be dead within minutes if that was the case? my ammonia test kit still shows 0 -0.15 and this is for both my tanks so this would suggest it has cycled..

little confused with my next step. WAIT? or W/C or try another test kit?

Well new test kit shows above 2pmm using red sea test kit.. obviously my salifert is faulty... as my established tank its showing 0 ammonia with the new test kit.

Guess I'll let it ride out
