np, just check to make sure u can get the tubing on and off the pump and not mess up the other plumbing (this was my whole issue), its hard to tell the head room under the sump to tell how much room you are working with. Dont want a flood happening or anything, when you are settled on the position of everything, see if the check valve is pvc and pvc cement the fittings just in case
Pvc, cementing after I dry the pipes off

All looks good. Personally I'd remove the screen on the main drain
Would the screen interfere with the flow? I just put it on because I’ve read that this will capture anything that might clog my drain

It won't stop 'life' from growing in your plumbing, but it will stop large items going from your DT to the drain.
As long as you check it regularly it'll be OK to use. I didn't check mine weekly and later found it plugging up so I removed it.
