Good evening family,

I just received my first major tank. Waterbox Marine X 90.3. I ordered the wrong return pump so I'm waiting on the new one to arrive. Do I have to wait to add sand, water and start the cycling process until the return pump comes?

Thank you all

You could fill the sump and just let it sit and start process of the main part of tank

Just so I'm clear. Just fill the sump with salt water and wait for the return pump and fill the main display with water and add Dr Tim's one and only and I should be ok

I'd wait for the return pump before filling the sump.

Have you already bought Dr. Tims? If not, I recommend using Fritz Turbo Start instead. Or Biospira.

No - not necessarily - if you have flow in the tank - that said - I would wait.

Wait -- just sand and water? Or do you have rock also? Don't bother adding anything to boost the cycle until you have enough surface area (rock, biomedia, etc) for the bacteria to colonize...
