Cyclone Rake

Anyone on here own a cyclone rake? I’m considering getting the classic. But man, $1550 shipped with the estate vac is steeeep. That’s more than my riding mower cost. I’ve got two acres and probably 50 giant trees on my lot. We have lot of hills too and the leaves tend to get stuck around the fence, planting beds and the house. I know I would use it but I’m having trouble with the price.

Those who own one, is it worth it?

I am actually in Erie at least once a week for work.....may not be as far as you think lol.

we just run over the leafs with the mower . That is Crazy expensive ....

I haver one. Works like a charm. I use it only in the fall for leaf cleanup. My only complaint is that the wheels sre very tough on the lawn. Try not to make tight turns with it on the grass. It will kill the grass in those areas. I pull it behind a JD X728. This tractor has no problem pulling the cart. The cart can get pretty heavy if the material you are cleaning gets wet. The rake does a great job mulching the debris. One word of caution. If you are storing the unit in a shed mice love to chew the bag. I purchased mine off CL.

Definitely worth the investment if you have a large area to clean. I use a backpack blower to blow out the beds. I blow all the leaves into the driveway or lawn and then just drive over to pick them up

Thanks for the advice! We have two acres of woods. Loooooots of leaves :)
