Settled in to their new homes! Last night was their first simulated full moon, with any luck April's full moon will be the trigger. They've been eating quite well & and the largest one is huge! I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up stretching past 7".

Still looking to add some reds or pinks to the gene pool. I'm totally devastated that I lost Doom from @RiptideAquaculture and Cobbler from TRSC. All of my losses have been tragic and I do not plan to lose these ones any the me soon.

Looks good! Just watch out for gall crabs, my aussie Acanthophyllia had a very interesting species of them inside it

Man, I forgot to ever update the thread.
I lost 100% of my coral shortly after the final update in the thread, in all three tanks. It must have been a pathogen from the most recent broodstock additions, because it was bad enough to kill all of my Aiptasia too! Literally all cnidarians died. Tunicates, sponges, snails, fish, etc all survived perfectly fine. 7-9 years of coral growth, thousands of dollars worth of frags, and of course all of my broodstock dead in the water.

So after that loss and getting reset to square 1 for the third time, I decided to shelve the project until I have the heart to give it another shot. It was so massively heartbreaking and I've only just now obtained corals again (gsp!).
I'm beginning to see evidence that Cynarina, acanthophyllia and indophyllia rarely survive more than a year or two in aquaria... Success stories are very, very rare at least. I'd be willing to try again some day, I still love them and still have ideas for it all the time... But after that disaster, I'm never getting slack with quarentine again.

On a positive note, Coral Dave the frogfish has been living and thriving in the old spawning tank for more than 2 years now. He definitely brings some joy into the hobby after the massacre.

Glad to hear it's doing well! What have you been feeding it and how often?

Thanks. It was a huge hit but I'm happy to be continuing on with more simple livestock again. :)

I've fed him a diet almost exclusively of squid with the occasional get loaded molly, once every 3-4 weeks or once I can tell that his stomach is empty. I'm a firm believer that 90%+ of frogs fish deaths in aquaria are from a combo of overfeeding and fatty liver disease.
