What would be the most b9 damsel to try? I have a big tank and stocking.

A few different hobbyist mentioned Chrysipterea genus as the more tame. Starcki, randals, talbot, azure, etc. As time allows do a few searches to see if any of them match what you are looking for.

Ended up getting a Springer. Refreshing to add a fish and have it settle in immediately. This is opposite of the Rabbit fish, tang and trigger I added which seem afraid to swim and eat. Frankly, would like to add another damsel.

I did have 2 three stripe damsels and they were complete terrors.
Thinking of getting a Pavo for the same 100gallon that my azure is in.

I can share my group of 7 pavo's experience. Aggression was not bad with other fish or damsels until they spawned. The male is very protective of the area the eggs are in. When added last all of the existing fish will learn of their spawning areas. New fish introduction didn't go very well regardless of fish type or size as the new fish didn't know the lay of the land. Acclimation box doesn't help in this case because the new fish is not swimming looking at this for sleeping arrangements or retreat or just foraging.

In short great fish. Pretty fish. Amazing courtship and spawning routine. Males very protective of the eggs and fish size of intruder didn't seem to phase them. One pare was fine. I had 7 in all with 2 spawning pairs regularly which was too much disruption. Captured and re-homed to someone who was done adding fish.

I have a young Pavo that I recently got from Biota. He is the smallest fish in the tank and so far gets along well with my yellow tang, 3 dwarf angels, 2 clowns and 2 grammas. Hoping he stays friendly as he gets bigger!

My grammas did not come as a pair, they do hang out together sometimes and get along fine but also spend a lot of time on opposite sides of the tank. My angels are a bicolor, coral beauty and multibar. I got them all from Biota. There's pictures of them at the end of my tank thread.

@RobertK You have a nice selection. Do you think you’ll need to upgrade eventually for any of them? And how long have you had them for?

I wonder if your Multibar gave any issues with feeding or otherwise. Is there a hierarchy among your dwarf angels?

Thanks. I have no plans to upgrade. I've gotten them all within the last year. No obvious aggression among the angels, but the bicolor is the biggest and is kind of the boss. No issues with the multibar.

I had a Starcki once a long time ago. He was a wonderful fish!
