- Nitrate is chronically low.
I have dosed nitrate and ammonia but no impact except cyanobacteria. I am now feeding heavy. Still have a reading of 0.0 NO3 per Hanna checker. Glass stays cleaner longer and no other noticeable difference of coral, all seem happy and growing.
I believe PO4 is much more important to keep off zero. I like to stay above 0.05 but try to keep 0.1 +/- 0.02
