I recentlly have been thinking of going with a waveline 1000011 for my 180 return pump do to the high cost of Electricity, I have also looked at the Diablo, Red Dragon and Jebou. I was wondering if anyone else has bit the bullet and switched to a DC pumps how are they performing, how long you have had it running etc Thanks

Get a laguna max flo. It's the pump that the ATB airstars and Red Dragons are based on. A 2400 would be close to the 10000 in terms of output, and it runs 80 watts instead of 95. Very reliable.

I have a Jaebo DC. It has been running about 4 months or so. It is certainly quiet thats for sure. It remains to be seen just how long it will last. I always have a spare main drive pump on hand though.
