Hi! I am new to this and just had a dead emerald crab fall under my aquarium rock. I can’t get to it without removing the rock structure. What will happen if I leave it? I don’t want to damage other livestock removing it or leaving it there to breakdown. Advice would be much appreciated!

thanks!

Hey how many gallons is your tank? You should be fine just when he starts breaking down do more water changes to keep your nitrates low and everything will be fine

Your tank should be able to handle a small crab dying...I used to have what I called the bermuda triangle where I would lose fish as big as your hand in a day with no ill effects on chemistry. Really weird I must add.
