I've made some changes to my dosing routine recently so alk and nutrient levels have been a little unstable for the last month or two. Have had a bit of red cyano on sand. One of my cyphastreas got covered in what looked like brown algae and died. The one right next to it developed some areas with the same brown stuff but the colony as a whole has survived. Not sure if its the same cyano that I had on the sand or something else. Parameters have now stabilized but I'm not sure what to do about this cyphastrea. The brown areas do not seem to be spreading at this point. Should I just leave it or should I debride away the brown areas and hope it fills back in with healthy tissue? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
