Decided to paint aquarium back.

Finally decided to paint the back glass a matte black to hide wires and pipes. I had to remove pumps and things for a few minutes but I love the way it came out.. Still drying so photo looks blotchy in the back but I'm happy with it!!

My fire fish are hidden. They scare easily. I'm just glad they didn't jump when I removed the cover!!
 
Looks great, I did the same with mine on instead of black I went with a aqua marine color to hopefully give it more depth.
 
Thinking of doing mine what kind of paint did you use and did you use a brush or roller


I used acrylic craft paint and a 4" foam roller. If you use the craft paint it is real easy to peel off if you want to change it.

This is what I used from Home Depot. I rolled it with a small roller. After it dried it came out smooth. I'm happy with it

Nice! I used spray paint but it was before the tank was up and running.
