So I'm thinking about getting this crab do they require any kind of special attention or parameters?

Stable as with most inverts, but...I will warn you that they can predate on small fish at night. I had this happen. Even with feeding him it happened. They are cool though!

No, the same basic requirements as with most inverts, such as other crab/hermits.

This crab type will pick up anything and everything to put on his exoskeleton, including your favorite zoanthid frags.

I like decorator crabs very much, but I like my corals and algae to stay where I put them more

One of the reasons I ask is one of the ones I just picked up and put in my 40 breeder just passed away days after I put turbo start bacteria in. I didn't know if they are that sensitive
