deep six swing arm hydrometer?

I have always used a hydrometer for quick test. I also have a refractometer as well and found my hydrometer to be off by .001 so I self compensate. It helps having something quick and not having to calibrate on every water change. Especially if you run out of calibration fluid. Just rinse it after every teat and it's good to go. My hydrometer is 4 years old and still works like a champ.

I used to use a hydrometer thinking it was super accurate till my friend came over with his refractometer because I was having some problems...turns out my salinity was at 1.031 even though my hydro said 1.025. I ordered a refractometer that day and am SUPER glad I finally bought one!

exactly same story for me!!:squigglemouth:.... I'd get one just in case:)
