Deionised water

Hi all,
I have a question, can I use Deionised water to mix my salt with? My RO unit is broke at the moment.
I just need to do a 20litre water change this weekend, Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I would test the TDS before using it. How high is your tap water?

As I live in the Uk we don’t use our tap water unless it’s through the RO unit, I can’t say as such to how high the Tap water is. I need to buy a 20litre container from a local wAter company which I can ask for any TDS readings.
