deltec AP 702 skimmer help

Hello everyone
I have a 1500 liter system and a problem with the protein skimmer. The Ehim model 1260 pump stopped working no matter what I tried to do, it died.
Buying a new pump like this is very expensive. Does anyone have experience with another pump that could fit and do the job?

Those ehimes are pretty reliable. Do you know how old it is? the pump I mean? I believe E Heim does have a needle wheel version of their 1260. It's not bored out on the inside like Deltec does for the 702 I know.

but it will probably get you by. Otherwise, it might be hard to even find eheim for that thing from Deltec.

As a last resort, you might be able to kind of rig the plumbing on any similar sized pump to get it to fit but that might be a struggle especially if you're running an externally
