Deranged Golden Nugget

So I got this huge Golden Nugget Clown in my 170. She hosts in a rock with hair algae. Arranging some corals around today, I placed a small Purple Seafan close to her spot because it was kind of an empty spot. And then I watched her tear off multiple branches off the Seafan!!!

I almost had a heart attack. Of course I moved the Seafan and I hope it survives!! It's a nice piece. She was attacking my hand as I was moving the Seafan away. She needs to be committed. She's not even cute to be acting this way!

She also HATES my glass cleaner. Attacks it across the entire tank when I clean.

I would hate to see a maroon the size of a shark, those things would be the most dangerous thing in the sea lol

Yup. Not unheard of. They will draw blood. I've had them chase adult Emperor angelfish.

Wait until it decides to fan sand all over the place.

She definitely looks like she packs a punch lol, I have an old gold nugget maroon who will jump out of the water to bite you if you're close to her BTA
