I see a lot of people posting build threads with computer generated designs of their tanks, plumbing, sumps, etc. What software are most people using? Is there a good free option out there? Everything I am seeing has free trails, but then you have to buy it.

I personally use Creo since we use it at work. It not cheap and its a dedicated engineering CAD software.
Autodesk Fusion 360 is free and quite powerful.
Sketch up also works but I'm not familiar with it.

I use AutoDesk Fusion 360, it has a completely free for personal use license and works well.
