Is anyone using a Diablo or any other DC pump for a basement return pump? I got a Diablo DC 10500 and was intending on using to return water from my basement sump around 10ish feet up on my new 300 build. But I was just looking around at them on marinedepot and it says this -

Note: THIS IS NOT A PRESSURE RATED PUMP. This pump is not ideal for second floor applications or to feed Beckett or downdraft skimmers where consistent pressure is necessary.

So now I'm not sure I want to use it as I dont want it to fail prematurely... I was wanting to use this pump due to energy efficiency mainly.
Any thoughts or suggestions ??? Thanks

weekday bump...If I decide to not use the DC as a return then I am considering keeping it to power reactors and uv and such and then getting a Pan World pump for a return, OR sell the dc pump and get a Reeflo barracuda to do it all...Any opinions or thoughts now ???
