Diamond Goby purple spots

He disappears for weeks at a time. In a 90 w 10 other 2 inchers. Thought he was a goner then saw him last night w flashlight. Doesn't come out when everyone's feeding and he used to wether it was flake or some chopped up shrimp. Thoughts?

Are you target feeding him? My Goby did the same thing. Then I realized he wasn't coming out because I was taking the food to him. I stopped catering to him and now he has to come out if he wants food. He stays out a big part of the day now. He was spoiled..lol. The only other thing I can think of would be bullying.
