Small back story, but I recently got a rock flower anemone and to give it time to settle in I had my powerhead off overnight and while I was at work so roughly for around 14-16hrs and when I came home from work I started to noticed these brown/orange spots on my rock, so the orange coloration did catch me off guard I’m hoping it’s just cause my rock is a deep purple but my sand is starting to get brown spots, soo I guess my question now is do I have to hold off on a water change? Since I started my tank I’ve only done 1 or 2 10-20% water changes and I was planning on doing so but since these spots are appearing on my rock, should I hold off on it until it settles?

In my opinion, flow and regular water changes proactively keep a tank healthy, especially if the tank is new.

All looks normal to me for a new system.
Just keep parameters stable and unchanging and let your system mature.

I might just toothbrush that off.
