Did BRS violate antitrust laws?

Does map pricing even apply to clearance items? IMO, this is no different than vendors clearing out Christmas items or last year model inventory.

I dont know...call me sour grapes...but last week's blow out sale of 40% of the EcoTech G5 Radions has really got me wondering. BRS claims that Ecotech falls under the MAP rules yet surprisingly enough, they had a 40% discount running whereas no other vendors did, even though they had them in stock. Due to the business relationship between Ecotech and BRS, are they unfairly undermining other businesses through a two tiered pricing methodology by only allowing BRS to advertise at lower than map pricing which other vendors were bound to honor?

Meh..just me debating minutia of the shady business practices in a cut throat retail environment.
If it does come it will not be on BRS, it would come from products being ported over from hydroponics, with alternate LED chips.

The intent was to sell them out in a blur so most people dont realize they got screwed. It is just that simple. We are not lawyers.

Shady business practices? That’s a bit slanderous (and shady) isn’t it?!

I don't know about anti trust but all that BS during the Black Friday sales about "lowest price it will ever be" Turned out to be BS. I know if I bought one then I would be pretty ticked off.

I believe they did this with the Vortechs first week in december...and yes, they were lower than that on black friday. But 'lowest price they will ever be' doesnt mean they wont have the same low price in the future...so technically..not false advertising.

Well the Ecotech Mp’s yeah they were a good sale but the Radion’s were 40% off so that was pretty uncommon ..

Each brand has some good products and poor products. I only use the MP40 from Ecotech. Wetsides are durable to an extent. I don't care for their lights or apps etc. Eco tech dosers just leak.

I would likely get GHL Mitras to emulate 20K radium bulb if I ever switched. I also know service would be difficult or non existent as they distribute through coralvue.
