difference between echinos and chalices

Is there a way you can tell the difference between an Echino from a chalice.

This is just my opinion but I believe enchinos and chalices are the same thing, atleast from what I understand. I don't have any myself, but I am sure someone will set it straight. I think that they are just different names for the same coral...

they are the same thing, chalice is just a common name for chalice
now there are different kinds of echinos, echinophyllia and echinophora
