Difference in 90 vs 180 gal

@ReefED! @exnisstech the width is my primary driver. Current 90 is 18" wide and it feels very crowded.

Plus, my original dream is a tank to separate the rooms.

From what y'all are saying, is expensive, but maintenance really isn't too different time wise. More water, more chemistry, more light, more flow, but potentially more automation.

Likely July/December before we decide to do anything, so thanks for all the information so far!

I would just say that even if you kept the gallons at 90, you’ll be much happier with a system that is 24” wide

I’m not trying to push or guide you into decisions - but just sharing my regret - 18” is just too shallow to get a good aquascape
