Difficulty with Scoly's

Are scoly's considered more difficult to keep than other lps such as trachy's and lobo's? I ask because I've got some lps that I've had for 5-7 years and yet I haven't had luck with scoly's. It's been a number of years since I last tried a scold and I'm thinking of trying one again.

They are actually one of the easiest. They are pretty hardy, low/medium light and low/medium flow, feed them shrimp or reef frenzy or whatever once a week. If you are worried, then try one of the cheaper ones, a red one or something, see if you still have it in a year then trade it in for another nicer one.

One thing that I saw in a Scoly care video that I found extremely helpful was that scolys like 77F and below. I had my tank at 78F and it was rather unhappy until I changed it. Now it’s fat and happy. Also low flow and low light as said above.
