Can someone tell me what looks like to be going on here...its good at the tips and at the base just in these spots it has lost polyp...i will say those spots are mostly shaded but so are other areas..

No ...had do couple in tank prazi treatment and change out around 40 gal of water in a 72 in matter or lil more than a week ...maybe treatment or fresh saltwater? ..i dont know but have a pink birdsnest doing same thing while all other corals seem be doing fine actually the pink is intertwined with the yellow and yellow is fine
 
Probably tough for anyone to answer without know all your tank parameters etc. as the tissue recession is 'non specific' imo...
 
I have a digi it has also done this. Not as bad as yours. They are able to regenerate tissue fairly quickly. some spots are left for dead though.
They are fairly hardy for sps
