I got a golden dime sized algae blenny from la. I should have paid attention to the size. he is in my qt. I am just wondering if he would get lost in my dt with a purple tang, assessor, clowns and bangais

As long as the Bangaii can't eat him it should be fine.

Just a word of caution if you keep acro. Some of these different and interesting algae eating blennies can begin attacking acro when they can't find any more of the specific algae they like. I had a small sailfin blenny do that. Actually just biting at the flesh of the acro for the algae within... He went from one to the next in a matter of days killed 3 acro before I figured it out.

Also they can be very difficult to catch in a large tank. I had to use an acro frag as bait to trap the one i had.

thanks, since he is so small, i think i will put him in my 20g nano tank. Good to know about the acros. My nano is mostly zoas and lps. My nano only has 2 clowns so figured he could grow up in there. Yes i liked this blenny because he is like lemonade yellow
