Having a pretty bad Dino outbreak, and i think I’ve narrowed down the why, nitrates and phosphates are consistently low, and i started the tank with new dry rock so there wasn’t much bacteria to outcompete.
it’s now covering the surface of all my rock scape and some of my frags

So trying to decide between fighting what I’ve read is a near impossible battle, or just breaking down the tank, moving the corals and fish to a QT tank, deep clean the tank and equipment, and rebooting with established rock. Thoughts? Any advice is appreciated

3 day blackout helped my dino battle. Didn't seem to affect the corals besides make them a little angry. You can also work to slowly raise your nutrients just a bit and give other beneficial algae a chance to take hold. How old is your tank?

Tons of different remedies out there to research also.

Yeah I’ve read through a lot of the remedies but it’s hard to narrow down which one works best until you pinpoint what particular strand of Dino’s it is. And tank is 3 months old, so not completely established yet, which explains the outbreak.
