75 g fowler

My skimmer cup overflowed - had several days of gunk in it. The next day dinos exploded , nothing cured the problem.

Then I saw a video about iron as a possible solution . Our water here leaves the rust ring on toilets ( i realize theres different forms of iron and i dont know what form comes from our tap).Started dumping dechlorinated tap water in the tank ( i use RO makeup water normally) about 2 cups a day .Day by day the dinos subsided .. almost gone here a week later.

Totally anecdotal... I get it. But that's what happened.

Does your tap water contain phosphate or nitrate?
