Thank you. @taricha is the mat that dinos are in, is that cyano? Like in the first video?
in your videos theres a mix of cyano, stringy diatoms, and maybe some gha that can all act as a base for dinos to group around. Dinos make their own mucus to hold their mat together too.

Ok. That's what I thought. Think I'm going to be ordering a UV in the next couple of days. In the meantime i am blacking out my tank. Except for maybe 30 mins a day to feed the fish.
