I have been having an issue with dinos for about a week now. I apparently moved my rocks around too much and caused this. I am treating with DE and a polisher daily. I am still developing new dinos. Is there anything else I should be doing? Also, does using DE affect your protein skimmer. I haven't been able to run it, without it overflowing, since I started the treatment.

Diatomaceous earth? I don't think that will get to the root cause. Do you know your phosphate and nitrate levels with reliable tests? You can't really filter dinos away because they replicate exponentially.
